"Why do you trade me, how many shekels is it worth tomorrow" Joyce Olong expresses in this beautifully rendered tune titled Shekels.
Joyce Anigo Olong, professionally known as Joyce Olong is an Afro-fusion artise, songwriter and music producer. The talented singer is first out of three children from Benue, Makurdi, born and raised in Lagos and is currently studying Business Communications. She was featured on the just released PGM Project, a collective EP by Olma Records and she is currently working on her debut EP which will be out before the year ends.
On "Shekels", Joyce Olong projects her authenticity as an artiste in its purest and truest form backed up by excellent instrumentation and a soothing voice which makes it more appealing.
Although, I would not like to compare her to Simi but she strikes a resemblance with the "Jamb Question" Crooner with respect to her sound, style of music and also vocal delivery.
We can't wait to hear more riveting sound from this songbird.
