A breadth of fresh air we can confidently say is the Afro R&B Fusion Singer/Songwriter, Yela. According to his soundcloud profile, Yela draws his inspiration from other Nigerian artistes such as Asa, TY Bello, Darey, Wande Coal, and Adekunle Gold.
It will interest you to know that Yela is a banker by profession and its quite astonishing knowing the efforts he puts into his craft producing such beautiful melodies.
The singer was able to register his sound in the minds of music lovers after releasing his debut EP titled Gidi + the Undertow in 2016 with outstanding tracks such as "Dance Wiv Me", "Boxes" and "Joni Walka".
He was also featured on 9 Talented Nigerian Artist you have never heard about by thenet.ng in 2016.
Yela has three singles, the most recent being James Bond, an Afrocentric R&B tune that uses the 007 metaphorically expressing his sexual prowess. It also features vocal powerhouse Lolo as both singers demonstrated an incredible chemistry on the track.
