The Voice Nigeria Is Back For A Season 2

After an exciting maiden edition, The Voice Nigeria is back with more excitements, drama and intrigues for a second season.

The Voice Nigeria Season 2 premiered on our TV screens over the weekend with an introduction of Yemi Alade as a judge of the show replacing, Tuface Idibia. We hope to see how she spice things up, bringing a whole new flavor to the competition with the likes of Patoraking, Waje and Timi Dakolo.

The show commenced on Sunday, 18th June, 2017 with the blind auditions as it witnessed some of the contestants roll out to battle for a slot in the show. Each contestant had one chance to convince the judges or go home,  no cutting corners.

However, unlike the maiden edition that wowed us from the first blind audition, showcasing varieties of skillful contestants with amazing vocal deliveries, season 2 seem to have dropped the bar in regards to the quality of voices that auditioned.

Nevertheless, its quite early to jump the gun. Lets keep our eyes fixed as the blind audition continues and more talents are unraveled.

So far, 8 contestants have found their way to the judges heart. These include: Jahnomso Ilem, Afolayan Alabi, Zorah Julius, Olarewaju Omowa, Jahtem Ilem, Favour Idugbe, Emmanuel Precious and Ifeoma Onu.
