Africa’s foremost female singer, Yemi Alade recently reached another milestone in her music career as she bags the title of “the most watched music video uploaded by an African woman” on Youtube.
The songstress has earned the spot for her smash hit song, “Johnny” which currently has 72,600,592 views on Youtube, directed by the super talented video director, Clarence Peters.
Interestingly, “Johnny” holds the second spot for the most watched Nigerian music video on Youtube with Psqare’s “Personally” leading the pack with 76,432,184 views.
The visuals features appearances by ace comedian Bovi, Big Brother Africa’s screen diva Beverly Osu, Nollywood’s heartthrob Alex Ekubo, afro-pop acts Saeon and Ajemina as well as cameos from Dil, Selebobo and more.
